Sister Christian. Why do I still love that song? It’s been in my head a lot and thanks to the lovely, Word Wide Web, I can listen to it anytime I please. It makes me wish I still had my old Jordache Jeans. I doubt I could get a single leg in them since I was only in sixth grade when I owned them. I used all my Christmas and Chanukah money to buy, 3 PAIRS!. Yes, people, 3!!!!!

o what does a girl in the late 80’s do with 3 pairs of Jordache and heavily sprayed feathered hair do? She rollerskates at the, Skatium. In the most awesome skates with pink wheels.Ok, I lied, I didn’t have pink wheels. But I really wanted some. I just had red wheels which are still kind of cool.  I remember how we would all sit around wishing one of those guys, who had Chachi hair, would ask us to skate during the couples skate. Good times.  You just never knew if tonight you’d get asked or you had to skate with your friend unless she got asked to dance and you’d skate with your other friend and you could make kissy faces behind the new couple.

And of course the night would end in standing around waiting for your mom to pick you up in her embarrassing ass station wagon. The kind that had the door in the back so you had to sit facing the wrong direction when you drive. There is no way to look cool getting into one of those things.Jordache Jeans and Rollerskating, two things that kick ass. And to the boy who asked me to skate while listening to, Sister Christian, thanks fella, thanks. Useless side note. One day when looking up lyrics I found this persons posted lyrics quite humorous.

One, I do not want anybody molding my end unless your a plastic surgeon and your giving me back my 18 year old ass. And, two, I wish I did now what the price for plight was. If I ever find I’d like to have some plight in my life, I’d like to know I could afford it
